SWEDX is the first company in the world to produce LCD-TV and computer peripherals embedded in natural solid wood.

The increased attention on the planet’s rapidly changing climate has put a renewed focus on the environment and businesses contribution to the problem. In the year of 2000 Swedx started the project of developing and manufacturing TFT-LCD monitors embedded in natural wood.

SWEDX is a Swedish company which started its activities in 1995. In the year of 2000 we started the project of developing and manufacturing TFT-LCD monitors embedded in natural wood.

We presented our new products in the CeBIT 2002 Fair in Hanover, Germany. The exhibition was a success and a huge interest for our products followed.

SWEDX’s head office is located in Sollentuna, north of Stockholm, Sweden and the company has its own production facility in Dongguan, China.

The business concept:

The concept of SWEDX is to create and develop unique products of natural character, optimal design and features. This is achieved by combining quality, performance, ergonomics and design. SWEDX aim is to bring more personal feelings, warm materials and natural colours into the IT- world. Our products attract attention to both wood and clear Swedish design.
